Bayside Council has launched a public campaign through Robert Lowe from Savills Australia to find a property solution to the parking shortfall in Brighton Le Sands, which may incorporate the council car park at 1-7 The Boulevarde.
The 2186-square-metre site at 1-7 The Boulevarde provides 250 parking spaces, with tourist zoning, in the heart of Brighton Le Sands.

It comes after Rockdale City Council (now Bayside Council) commissioned a parking strategy report as the first stage of the Brighton Le Sands masterplan in June 2014.
This identified a shortfall of 211 car spaces in the core area. The Boulevarde car park was identified in the implementation plan as a council asset that required improvement works and may be considered a key component to providing car parking solutions in the town centre.
