Bunnings has issued an urgent recall for an oil heater amid fears the device could rupture and spray out hot oil.
The hardware giant has revealed it has received a number of reports from customers who said there was hot oil leaking out of their Moretti 11 Fin Oil Column Heater which could potentially lead to burns or scalding.

A spokeswoman said it was believed 600 of the heaters have been sold nationally this year.
In a statement, the company said affected heaters have ‘Batch Code 12/16’ and ‘OLN 9532’ or ‘OLN 9539’ and were sold through Bunnings in 2017.
Other batches of this model (‘MC35B2’) are not affected by the recall, the company said.
Customers are urged to stop using the heater immediately and return it to the nearest Bunnings store as soon as possible for a full refund.
